On Wednesday, Pharrell's OTHERtone show on Beats 1 teased an upcoming interview with The Internet, which will air in full this Sunday. Today, the show unveiled a longer clip of the interview, which features Syd, Matt Martians, Steve Lacy, Christopher Smith, and Patrick Paige II discuss their upcoming solo projects, which the group announced in their cover story interview for The FADER's America issue.
"My solo album is probably a lot more mainstream," Syd told Pharrell during the interview. "There's no live drums, it's a bunch of bouncy songs. Something you might hear on the radio a little bit, more so than Ego Death." Pharrell told the group, "It's awesome to see a band love each other enough to support each other equally."
