After a short hiatus, Washington D.C. native Chaz French returns with a heartwarming video for his new single, "Miss You (Freestyle)." In the visual, the love he's been cultivating as a family man and a father of two is on full display. Concerned about how his supporters would receive him, French offers up a clear-eyed portrait of what's been crucial to him as he's found his footing.
"It’s been longer than my fans or I would have liked for me to give them new songs and visuals. I just wanted to take this time to let them know, that I missed them during this time apart," French told The FADER over email. "At the same time, through this process of chasing the vision, my time with my children has also become limited. Had to do some soul searching to find the balance between Chaz the Dad and the rapper. Struggle what made us!"
