Dave Chappelle Co-Headlined With Chris Rock In NOLA
The two comedians shared a stage as part of Chris Rock’s Total Blackout Tour in New Orleans, Saturday night.
Dave Chappelle joined Chris Rock on stage Saturday night for the first of his three-night appearance at the Saenger Theatre in New Orleans. “Tonight, you are all part of a social experiment,” said Chappelle."Stranger things have happened in New Orleans."
Chappelle, who's two Netflix standup specials aired to huge fanfare earlier this week, starts his own five-night gig in Austin tonight. Rock described sharing the stage as the "Best Show Ever," on his Twitter account.
Unfortunately, no phones were allowed at the show, according to The New Orleans Advocate, ensuring that fans got a one of a kind comedic experience. Tyra Banks and Rosario Dawson were also in attendance.
"Y'all got a weird show," Rock said at one point. Hopefully, the first of many more to come.
