In the past year, SOB x RBE have established themselves as California's hottest rap group. Since releasing their self-titled debut album last January, the Vallejo group — comprised of Slimmy B, Yhung T.O, DaBoii, and Lul G — hasn't let up, continuing to apply pressure with a steady stream of solo releases.

In the midst of their first-ever nationwide tour, Slimmy B, Yhung T.O, and DaBoii dropped by The FADER office to tell us about growing up in Vallejo, a small Northern California city with a storied rap history. They also revealed how they came up with their irresistibly catchy tag and how they helped recruit Nick Young to the Golden State Warriors. Watch the full interview above.
