A solid release date for New York rapper Bobby Shmurda is starting to emerge. Shmurda, who has been serving time since September 2016, will be released in November 2020 according to a post on his mom's Instagram page. "One of those mornings but the time is ticking 25 months he will be here soon," Leslie Pollard wrote under a picture of her son on October 3.

Bobby Shmurda was sent to prison for 6-7 years in September 2016 after pleading guilty to murder conspiracy charges. At the time, his attorney Alex Spiro told The FADER that the New York City rapper could be home in "approximately 3 1/2" years with "good time credit." In April it was reported that Shmurda would be out in December 2020, if he makes parole. Shmurda spoke to This Is 50 from prison in July in which he too posited late 2020 as his release date.
