Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road" has received an official remix featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, Rolling Stone reports. The new version of the controversial song will land on streaming platforms on Thursday.
Cyrus showed his support for "Old Town Road" last week, quoting the song's "Horses in the back" lyric to his 1.4m Instagram followers. He also touched on the issue of Billboard removing the song from its country music chart, stating: “Don’t try and think inside the box. “Don’t think outside the box. Think like there is no box."
Lil Nas X recently attempted to put at end to the dispute around his song, saying he thinks his self-styled country trap music lead to his removal from the Billboard chart and not, as some have suggested, his race.
