Empath sign to Fat Possum, announce re-release of debut album
Active Listening: Night on Earth will be reissued alongside 2018 EP Liberating Guilt and Fear.
Philadelphia noise punk band Empath has signed to Fat Possum Records and will be reissue its debut album, Active Listening: Night on Earth, on October 4. The album was first released in May of this year via Get Better Records.
The re-issued version of the album will include Empath's 2018 EP Liberating Guilt and Fear, available on vinyl for the first time.
Empath have also announced a North American tour for the fall, including shows with Sheer Mag, Mannequin Pussy, and Guerilla Toss. The band will also play its first shows in Europe and the U.K. in October and November.
