Variety reports that the show, which is produced by Complex, "traces the rise and fall of Tekashi 6ix9ine from his days growing up in Brooklyn, through his chart-topping career and star-studded collaborations — to the rapper’s arrest on racketeering, weapons and drugs charges, and his plea deal on nine felony counts."

Other new additions to the Snap Originals slate include a doc about transgender beauty icon Nikita Dragun as well as Everything’s Fine, a scripted comedy about a bipolar college student featuring music from Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz.

Earlier this week it was reported that federal prosecutors are considering the option of sending 6ix9ine to witness protection. The rapper is currently testifying against Anthony "Harv" Ellison and Aljermiah "Nuke" Mack in a federal racketeering trial against the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.
