Lifetime has shared the first official trailer for Surviving R. Kelly Part II: The Reckoning, a three-part docuseries and follow-up to this year's Surviving R. Kelly. The nearly-four minute video, which you can watch above, traces the aftermath of Surviving R. Kelly's airing in 2018, and depicts families of some of Kelly's current companions trying to find their daughters.
After the initial airing of Surviving R. Kelly, the singer was charged with criminal sexual abuse in Chicago. Kelly went on to be charged with a slew of other offenses, including child pornography and racketeering in Minnesota and New York.
Surviving R. Kelly Part II: The Reckoning will air over three nights starting January 2 at 9 p.m. Last week, Kelly's companion Joycelyn Savage denounced fake Instagram and Patreon pages containing allegations against the singer.
