100 gecs — the rising duo comprised of Dylan Brady and Laura Les — have released a remix of “ringtone,” a highlight from their 2019 debut 1000 gecs, featuring contributions from Charli XCX, Rico Nasty, and Kero Kero Bonito. A ground-up reworking of the song, “ringtone”’s remix finds each featured artist adding a new verse, with Charli also singing the song’s hook. the “ringtone” remix is taken from 100 gecs’ upcoming remix album 1000 gecs & The Tree of Clues, previously announced as 1000 gecs & th3 phant0m m3nac3. The album features previously-released remixes of “money machine” (by A. G. Cook) and “745 sticky” (by Injury Reserve).
