After a blessed few months of radio silence, Kanye West is back to venting on Instagram. His latest post was shared on Monday and is an apparent reaction to the reports of the breakup of his ex-wife Kim Kardashian and Saturday Night Live's Pete Davidson. It also contains a jab at his former friend and collaborator Kid Cudi, who had a falling out with West over his friendship with Davidson.

The image depicts a fake issue of The New York Times with a headlining containing West's nickname for Davidson: "Skete Davidson Dead At 28." The mention of Kid Cudi comes in small print just above the fold and reads "Kid Cudi meant to play funeral but fearful of bottle throwers." In July, Cudi replaced West as the headliner of Rolling Loud Miami after West dropped out, though he ended his set early due to concertgoers throwing objects on stage.

Earlier this year, West was suspended from Instagram for 24 hours over a torrent of insults including a racial slur directed at The Daily Show host Trevor Noah and abuse directed at Davidson, the most famous of which was the music video for The Game's "Eazy" wherein an animated West cradles Davidson's decapitated head. Both Noah and Davidson had criticized West for his public attempts to reconcile with Kim Kardashian – in her February divorce filing, Kardashian said these posts had caused her emotional distress.
