In an interview with Variety last June, Ron and Ernie Isley let slip that Beyoncé would be featured on a new project they had in the works. This morning, over a year later, they’ve finally confirmed the collaboration, premiering a joint rework of “Make Me Say It Again Girl, Pts.1 & 2,” a smash hit from their 1975 album The Heat Is On, on their weekly iHeartRadio show. Ron Isley later posted a snippet of the track to Instagram and announced that its official release is set for Friday (August 12).

The new rendition will arrive two weeks after the release of Beyoncé’s seventh studio LP, Renaissance, which debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart on Monday. Since dropping the album, she’s also shared several remixes of its lead single “Break My Soul,” including one featuring Madonna.
