Blood Orange was the musical guest on Thursday night's episode of The Tonight Show. Dev Hynes performed "Wish," from the recently-released Four Songs EP, and was joined on stage by Liam Benzvi, Tariq Al-Sabir, Eva Tolkin and Ian Isiah. Check out their performance above.
Four Songs was released on September 16 and includes the single "Jesus Freak Lighter." Blood Orange recently opened for Harry Styles at all 15 of his Madison Square Garden shows.
The most recent Blood Orange release was Angel's Pulse, a mixtape that dropped in 2019. Since then Hynes has focused largely on film and TV work, providing scores to the HBO series We Are Who We Are, plus Gia Coppola's Mainstream, the Netflix documentary Naomi Osaka, and Passing, starring Tessa Thompson and Ruth Negga. He has also scored the upcoming Paul Schrader film, Master Gardener, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival earlier this month.
