Fred Again.. samples Obongjayar on new song “adore u”
The super producer returns with another emotive banger.

Fred Again.. has shared a new song titled "adore u." The song samples Obongjayar's "I Wish It Was Me," a song taken from the Nigerian artist's 2022 album Some Nights I Dream Of Doors .
"adore u" was part of Fred Again..'s set at Glastonbury in June, with the DJ and producer explaining that he started working on the song as a tribute to his sister before learning that Obongjayar wrote the lyrics to his song for his own sibling.

Last month Fred Again.. was nominated for the 2023 Mercury Prize for his latest solo album Actual Life 3. In May he released Secret Life, an ambient album made in collaboration with Brian Eno. He also closed Coachella back in April alongside Skrillex and Four Tet. The trio stepped in when headliner Frank Ocean pulled out of the festival at short notice.
