Lauryn Hill adds dates to The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 25th anniversary tour

New dates have been added to The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill tour. Celebrating the album’s 25th anniversary, Lauryn Hill is reuniting with the Fugees for the previously announced North American dates. Now, ten new cities have been added, including Vancouver, San Francisco, and Atlanta.

“I’ve almost felt compelled to carry a torch or to keep a light shining regarding the continual performance of the Miseducation album,” Hill said in a press statement. “I believe there’s been a reason for that—and the Fugees coming back together for performances too feels like unfinished business we’re destined to handle. The connections are real and uncanny, and the magic and synergy between us has not been deterred by time.”

She continued: “Both the Miseducation and the Fugees’ material challenged and expanded convention, by paying homage to the past, while richly embracing the present, and emblazoning the trail for the future. We represent not just ourselves but our influences and our peers who took art, culture, and inspiration very seriously—- who reshaped the landscape for ourselves and for those who would follow after us. I’m grateful to be able to celebrate this classic material and re-present it to an audience at this time.”

Two weeks ago (September 23), Fugees reunited on the Global Citizen stage after having to postpone their tour for The Score’s 25th anniversary in 2021. The charity festival raised $240 million to fight world hunger.

Back in April, Pras was found guilty on all ten crimes in his federal conspiracy trial. The offenses he was convicted of include conspiracy, campaign finance violations, money laundering, illegal lobbying, witness tampering, and acting as an agent of a foreign government without registering as one.
