Dan Bejar — the founder, lead singer, and chief songwriter of his long-running Vancouver group Destroyer — has announced fourteen solo shows in March and April 2024. As Brooklyn Vegan notes, “solo” is not an entirely accurate descriptor: Bejar will be accompanied by his frequent collaborator and producer David Carswell. All but one date of the tour (March 9 in Denver) will feature Lightning Dust, a fellow Vancouver rock band, as openers.

The tour is scheduled to start March 5 in Seattle, with four more West Coast/Mountain West shows in the next four days. Bejar will then take almost a month off before returning to the road on April 3 in D.C., kicking off a run of 10 shows in 11 days. He’ll traverse the northeastern United States, southwestern Canada, and the U.S. midwest before ending in Minneapolis on the 13th. See all of Bejar’s upcoming dates below.
