Since their arrest in December, Bobby Shmurda and his GS9 associates have been held in Rikers Island on guns, drugs and weapons charges, which they've all plead not guilty to. Though one weapon charge against Shmurda - aka Acquille Pollard - has been dropped, XXL reports that another was added. At a court hearing last Thursday, it was revealed by the prosecution that Shmurda had been rearrested on Tuesday June 21 for possession of a "sharpened metal instrument" while in prison. The official charge for having a shank is "promoting prison contraband" which constitutes a Class D felony. Shmurda will face this charge separately from the current case, set to go to trial on October 5. Listen to Bobby's phone interview from jail on Hot 97.
