It's been nearly three years since Nef The Pharaoh took the Bay Area by storm with his breakout hit "Big Tymin'." Since then, under the tutelage of E-40, the South Vallejo rapper has become an ambassador of the region in his own right, championing artists like SOB X RBE, OMB Peezy, and others.
Today, Nef is announcing the release date for his long-awaited debut album The Big Chang Theory and sharing the video for the first single from the project, "Big Boss Chang," which premieres on The FADER. Like much of his catalog, the new single is an anthemic slap meant to be played at high volumes and built for universal appeal: in the video, he takes the party from a school classroom to the strip club.
The Big Chang Theory is due out August 10. See the album artwork and tracklist below and watch the new video for "Big Boss Chang" above.
