Jeremih Links Up With U.K. Producer ADP On The Low-Slung “No Good For Me”

It’s the M.I.A. beatmaker’s debut single.

ADP, real name Amish Patel, is the British producer who's lowkey behind tracks like Krept & Konan's Jeremih-featuring "Freak of the Week" and M.I.A.'s "Borders." He links up with Jeremih again on "No Good For Me," the first single to be released under his own name (and Jeremih's first new music since his surprise Cinco De MihYo EP back in May). "No Good For Me" is a savage blow to a "selfish" ex, delivered over an addictive elastic bassline, and including a verse from U.K. rapper Ebenezer.

"The track started with me and an artist called Vory in the studio in L.A. just catching a vibe," ADP explained to The FADER in an email. "As soon as we did it I knew it was special, and before I knew it my team played it to Jeremih. Soon after, the track was in my inbox with Jeremih’s vocal on it, and I was hype when I heard the magic he added. It wasn’t long after that I played it to my good friend Ebenezer who was into it just as much as I was, and it made sense to have him on it. With this being my first release as an artist, having Jeremih and Ebenezer as connected and involved as I am to this song means everything." Listen exclusively below.
