Free Nationals are best known as the live band backing Anderson .Paak in his energetic live shows, but the group are prepping a debut album of their very own as we speak. On Wednesday, June 12, the group will share "Time," a song featuring Kali Uchi and Mac Miller, who died in September 2018 of a drug overdose. Check out the song's announcement below:

"Time" will be the second single from the as-yet-untitled Free Nationals album – in October, the group shared "Beauty & Essex" featuring Daniel Caesar and Unknown Mortal Orchestra.

Mac Miller's final album Swimming was released in August 2018. Since his death, rumors of a Madlib-produced collaborative project emerged – the enigmatic producer confirmed that he had recorded with Mac, but said there are no plans to release the material.
