Cameron Pettit, one of three men charged in the death of Mac Miller, pleaded not guilty today in federal court, Billboard reports. Pettit is accused of selling Miller cocaine and oxycodone pills laced with fentanyl before the rapper's accidental overdose in September 2018, and faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 20 years in federal prison.

Pettit was arrested in September along with Stephen Walter and Ryan Reavis. In private messages sent before his arrest, Pettit expressed concern about an imminent arrest in connection with Miller's death. "I think I should probably not post anything... just to be smart," he said before expressing concern that he could "die in jail."
