Merlyn Wood has shared a new track titled “GREEN LIGHT,” produced by CONNIE and arriving alongside a music video courtesy of Miggy. It’s the Houston-via-Ghana rapper’s first single since his larger-than-life “boy band” BROCKHAMPTON announced their breakup in January. They seemingly closed the curtain on 12 years as a collective (the first four as AliveSinceForever) in April at Coachella but teased an encore — a final album called The Final Album — during their set and dropped a trailer for it the following week. Last Wednesday (May 25), their ex-leader Kevin Abstract relaunched his own solo career with a feature on Easy Life’s “Dear Miss Holloway.”
