Brian Eno and Fred again.. will release a collaborative album called Secret Life this Friday, May 5. The project is out via Text Records, the label founded by Kieran Hebden a.k.a. Four Tet. Hebden first revealed the project yesterday on Twitter, and on May 2, he promised that "it is the most beautiful album of 2023."

Hebden also revealed that a web radio station secretlife.fm has been broadcasting every day at 10 p.m. GMT for an indeterminate amount of time.

Fred again.. first met Eno at age 16 as part of an acapella group who recorded in the legendary producer's studio. Speaking with Apple Music last year to promote his album ForeverAndEverNoMore, Eno said that he had learned much about music from Fred again... “I think of Fred as my mentor as well,” he said. “I learnt so much about contemporary music from watching him working... It’s a two-way relationship. I’m very flattered to be called a mentor of someone whose work I like a lot, but actually, it worked both ways round."

Last week's Coachella featured a last-minute set from Fred again.., Four Tet and Skrillex. They also teamed up for the song “Baby Again...” in March.
