This Week in The FADER: May 15, 2011 Edition

** Tyler, the Creator released his second album Goblin. In By the Numbers, we broke it down into basic digits and primary colors. At midweek, Tyler was on pace to sell 40-45k copies of the album. When he appeared with Odd Future in Boston on Thursday, there was a "riot." The local Fox News anchor was super confused by it.

** Adele's ex-boyfriend wants album royalties, just for being a prick.

** A new Frank Ocean track surfaced. "U Got It" has heavy bass whomp, serious pleading, a brief acoustic guitar cameo and lazer sounds. The countdown to when Ocean becomes a mega star starts now a couple months ago.

** London DJ crew The Heatwave added dancehall vocals to Jamie XX's "Rolling in the Deep" Adele mix. The result, "Rolling in the Heat" is brilliant and dense.

** Dancehall hero/skin-bleacher Vybz Kartel got a full head of hair extensions. He's not the first entertainer to do so, but still looks weirder than ever.

** Soulja Boy released two new videos, for "Juice" and "Zan with that Lean."

** We heard from WWD that Diplo is absolutely not friends with M.I.A. anymore.
